I have developed coding experience with JAVA and Python/Tensorflow. I have created high-quality training videos (creating and editing content for myself and others). HPC RSE specialist, Python and Fortran Programmer. I lead a team developing software to enable green chemistry discovery, using DevOps and version control to manage this team. Research: The Development of a Novel Forcefields for Hybrid Organic-Metal Perovskites.

I developed a novel potential for perovskites in conjunction with synthetic materials scientists. Development of a Genetic Algorithm program for searching permutations of material combinations. 2000+ lines of C++ code. Presentation of methods and results at national and international conferences. Development of a program to analyse “tilt” in perovskite structures. 14,000+ lines of FORTRAN code.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant, Rühr-Universität Bochum, Bochum, Germany

Research: The Development of a Novel Machine Learning Approach to Tight Binding for the Atomistic Simulation of Condensed Phase System.

The development of a novel approach to the Tight Binding method, making use of the advantages of Neural Networks. The implementation and generalization of the methodology from proof of principle within the RuNNer neural network code. 10,000+ lines of FORTRAN code additions, and accounting for eventual generalization to MPI usage. The maintenance of the RuNNer code, including addressing bugs within the code brought up by other users within the research group.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant, Warwick University, Coventry, UK

Research: The Application and Development of Novel Optimization Procedures for a Transition Metal Protein Model.

The application of Evolutionary Algorithms to parameter optimization for Transition Metal systems. Build programs within the MOE (Molecular Operating Environment) suite. Applied to the modelling of Iron amine complexes Spin Crossover complexes, Nickel Spin Crossover Complexes, and Type 1 Blue Copper complex redox complexes. Responsible for the development of new SVL (Scientific Vector Language) code and its dissemination to the MOE user group. This includes compiling new versions of DommieMOE, the in-house modification of MOE.

I was co-designer, writer, and miniatures photographers and painter for the 3rd edition of the wargame based upon the Fading Suns IP.

Cyberpunk LARP - Jackalope Live Action Studios

I was co-writer for Cyberpunk ARP, designing factions and characters.

Wrath and Glory Revised - Cubicle 7

I was co-writer for the revised edition of the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay Game, Wrath and Glory. I rewrote many descriptive sections and wrote the Games Master advice chapter.

Hell Rides to Hallt - Warhammer Fantasy RPG 4e - Cubicle 7

I was originator, designer, co-writers and community lead tester for the scenario for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, based upon the Warhammer Fantasy Battles IP.

Pip System Primer #9 - Time Jumpers - Third Eye Games

I co-wrote content for this primer, focusing on the types of time travel adventures that can be run, looking at the different sorts of time travel is present in media.

I was a writer for a chapter of the next instalment of The Enemy Within campaign for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th edition. This part of the campaign features the ratmen known as Skaven.
